Basics of Wheel-Throwing Workshop: Sunday 2/16, 9am-4pm
Sunday February 16th: 9am-12pm, Lunch break, 1-4pm
We are hosting David Johnson (https://davidjohnsonceramics.com andwww.instagram.com/davidjohnsonceramics) for a full day workshop on the basics of wheel-throwing. This is a great option for beginners who want to practice the throwing process or intermediate potters who want to refine their skills.
All levels of experience are welcome! Minimum Age - 16 years old.
While you will leave this class with a number of unique pieces, also bear in mind that we can only cover so much in 1 day. Most students leave this course with a good understanding of their basic and essential pottery skills, but still lack the hours of practice needed to master this craft. For this reason, we strongly encourage students who still wish to further their understanding of pottery to explore our studio membership program!
Preparations for Your Class
Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes before your class.
There is no need to bring any tools or materials to our sessions unless you want to. Belltower will provide all necessary tools and materials throughout the month.
Please trim your fingernails before class. Uncut nails will make the entire process of shaping your pieces difficult, if not impossible.
Cancellation Policy
